Taking a little water taxi to Granville Island

Our good friend, Sonja, came to visit us!!! We took her to Pike Place Market, a rock concert in the park, the university district, and on a ferry ride to a farmer's market. Then, we all headed up to Vancouver, B.C. together. We stayed with her there for a couple of days and drove home. While in Vancouver, we went to Stanley Park which is full of great things to do...spray park, totem poles, a petting farm, a rose garden, playgrounds and more. A wonderful place to spend the day or even several days. The next day we went to Granville Island which has a great market, a kid's shopping place, a playground and a spray park. A man who owned one boutique gave Johari a lovely heart necklace. Johari told me that we should go pay for it and I let her know that he had given it to her as a present so we didn't even have to pay for it. One evening we went swimming in the hotel pool. Johari enjoyed it but she got cold quickly so we tried out the whirlpool without the whirling! It was great! Warm and it had a ledge that was the perfect height for her to walk around in circles. Mama got relaxed in the warm water!
On our drive home, shortly before we were arriving at the border crossing without me mentioning it coming, Johari said that she needed her picture, referring to her passport. She is a regular traveler!! She has it all figured out already.
Ahdji-oudjou has been traveling along with us. She is very much a part of our daily lives. Ahdji-oudjou's mom drops her off and leaves to go to "classes". I thought to myself, how did she come up with classes. Then I realized that it came from me leaving her to go to some yoga classes. When Johari walks around with her arms folded across her chest, it usually means that she is carrying Ahdji-oudjou. Sometimes she even says her arm hurts from carrying Ahdji-oudjou for a long time.
