more on Barney Boy and out to dinner

Somehow that last post wanted to publish itself before I was done writing....
ANYWAY...
Johari loves Barney Boy. She can walk him although he can pull just to the point where she uncomfortable once in a while but then she just lets me know. She reads him books and he falls asleep while she is doing it. She likes to put a little blanket on him at bedtime. She is really gentle with him and loving. When we were meeting the woman from the rescue to get him, Johari immediately was like, "Can we put him in the car, Mommy?" She was in a rush to get him in the car to make sure we could bring him with us. Both days we have had him, we took him to the off-leash dog park in Edmonds.


The other night we went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant with a whole crew of people. Carmel is definitely the eater! She was handling her pasta. Johari, the nibbler. We can only spend a limited amount of time in a restaurant. Once she is ready to move around, it is time to get out.
We had a lovely BBQ at the beach yesterday evening with a bunch of friends. Excellente!!
